Love on the Door
Coopity Coop
Potty training has begun at our house! And I've decided it's just as much a training of the trainer as the trainee... :)
"Pop Juice" aka. EmergenC, a supplement that I like to give Cooper. Thanks to my awesome sister Lundyn, for the sweet nickname that makes him excited to drink it!
Weekend with Taron and Keaton
All three inside Coop's "fort":
Keaton took this pic of Ryder and I- I thought it turned out kinda sweet :) He also took the one above of Taron and Cooper. He enjoys playing photographer! Good, simple times with all of us together- playing Life is a treat and even Cooper is getting big enough to get excited about it. Thanks for a great weekend boys!

It Shows
Last Friday was my last day of work for another winter season and I have to say... it shows :) How I love being able to stay home and do the real work of my life! Not the dishes, not the laundry, but this... playing on the floor with tractors and making fun faces at my happy baby.
Motherhood rocks. :)
Just Because
Stephen came home from being gone for two nights in a row earlier this week with these beautiful flowers in hand! He said that while he was paying for them, the cashier asked him what the occasion was and he replied that there wasn't one, just "telling my wife I love her." The cashier thought that was pretty rare and wished she could say her husband did the same. I am a lucky girl! I love you, Stephen and Thank You for loving me :)
Frosting
In my little world, sleep is pretty darn precious. But there are a few things that trump it, and one of them is frosting. Not the kind that goes on cakes or cookies, but the kind that makes things special. Like this star and package that I recently made for a co-worker of mine. I've loved making stars similar to this for several gifts this year. (Find out where I got the idea here.)
Give me some ribbons and Mod Podge, and sleep can wait. :)

2010 in a Word
I've been seeing the idea for a "Word of the Year" and it sunk in with me- a concept, rather than resolutions with surefire dissapointment attached. So, I've given it a lot of thought and decided to go with my original impression for my Word of the Year...
Anyone that knows me knows that this is pretty darn fitting... This year, I want to be able to just finally RELAX. To work hard and worry less. To let things be ok even if they aren't measuring up to my ideals. In 2010, I'm going to RELAX (or at least try). :) What will your Word of the Year be?

'Rich Blessings are in Store'
Happy New Year! Last night we had some friends over for a party at our house- they made it a fun night. We learned a new card game and got to know everyone better- we are blessed with good people in our life that make for good times!
Coop helped clean up his room yesterday by stacking and arranging lots of his other toys on top of the road rug he got for Christmas. Don't think he's quite gotten how the road rug works- it's just a spot to put stuff still. :) He's so proud of the piles he makes lately!
Ryder in his adorable new warm hat from our great friend Monica- isn't it so, so cute!?! I can't wait to have him wear it outside! She is a really talented crocheter! (Is that a word?) :) Thank You, Monch, for always thinking of us and our kids!
Our midnight countdown turned in to a snowball fight! We're all pretty stoked to have new snow around here. One of our friends brought some fireworks and explosives of some kind that made a huge boom at midnight- we timed it perfectly!
And as for 2010, we are excited! This year we will grow our business, grow our faith, grow our security, grow our love and enjoy our family. We will make and capture memories that we will cherish at this time next year and for many years to come. We are grateful for our challenges that make us more worthy of greater blesssings. The other night as I was singing 'I am a Child of God' to the boys it struck me that indeed, 'rich blessings are in store.' We hope and pray the same for you!
