They were simple, but so cute. Because I liked them so well, I used one of them to create a pattern and make them myself to give as baby gifts. These are a great way to bust your flannel fabric stash! (Or, a good excuse for choosing cute flannel to buy while I'm waiting in line at the fabric cutting counter...)

I have a friend that is expecting a baby girl, so I got to actually use these cute prints I've been hoarding! If you are a crocheter, these are also perfect for adding a pretty edge! They are super easy and this little tutorial will make it even moreso...

Simple FroYo Card Teacher Gift

Hooray hooray for the last week of school!

I can hardly wait to have my Cooper back for the whole day!

To not have to make double trips to and from the school each day,

to worry a little less about bedtime,

to just have it be summer!

We've been thinking for awhile about what to give Cooper's teacher and aides as an end of year gift. I happened upon some threads on facebook where teachers were chiming in on what they most love to get. The resounding winner: gift cards! So, even thought they aren't really seen as a very creative gift, I decided gift cards it was!

Cutting Grass... Pulling Teeth... Taking Aim

No one really loves to mow their lawn, right?? Our neighbors would certainly never mistake us for loving it- we seriously wait until the absolute 11th hour before we mow it seems! But Stephen recently did some trading for this super-awesome-seen-better-days-but-we-think-it-still-rocks riding lawnmower! And now we might just mow our lawn for the fun of it... or, more truthfully, let Taron or Keaton hop on and mow for the fun of it! :) Ryder thinks it's a new play toy and has taken several sweet trips without moving an inch on this thing already :)

Graduation Mason Jar Money Gift

experience his very last last day of school! He graduated with a Masters Degree

Happy Mothers Day! I can't let today pass without gushing a bit about my own Mom and also making sure any readers that are Mothers who might stop by today know how amazing YOU are! I have been blessed with an amazing, selfless Mom that largely made, and still makes, me who I am.. I will forever want to be her one day!

She gave me as good of roots as it is possible to have

and encourages me to spread my wings in ways that will improve our life.

I love you, Mom!

Being a Mom is trying, but it is wonderful!

There is no better job or place to be, in my opinion :)

Color in Motion 5K

So it goes without saying that I really shouldn't plan on running a 5K anytime soon! :P

Or maybe that I'd be pretty much incapable of running a 5K anytime soon- ha! But here's the thing... I keep hearing about this awesome Color in Motion race going on soon here in eastern Idaho. Quite awhile ago, my friend Monica told me she's got a whole group together, and I know my youngest sister will be in the thick of it too. And I think it looks so fun!
