A week in the life

Learning to feed himself... We tried this for the first time last night and he did surprisingly well! Makes me kinda sad though that he's big enough for that!
Getting a haircut- Dad decided Mom was no longer in charge of haircuts after the last one. :) So Stephen did the cutting while I supervised- Not too long ago he scared me on the phone when he said that he had buzzed all of Cooper's hair off along with Taron and Keaton's! He knows how to get me goin' (and I know, it doesn't take much.) Stephen did great of course and Cooper looks adorable with his new summer 'do:
Hadn't been combed yet, obviously... :)

He loves his fire engine! He loves being pushed around for a ride, pushing the button for music, putting toys inside, pulling it wherever he goes. Love this pic.

That's us for the week- looking forward to the weekend with the boys. Our little town has a Fourth of July Parade and fireworks the weekend before (strange I know), so we're taking the boys to that- we'll see how Cooper does through the fireworks. Last year he slept through the whole thing... Happy weekend all!

He's a Menace Boy...

Twin Falls Temple Open House

Thought I'd let everyone know that tickets are available for reservation now for the Twin Falls Temple Open House July 11- August 16. We're getting pretty excited around here! For tickets, you can call 866-537-8457 or click here.

Water on the Tramp, Popsicles and Bubbles- It's finally summer

It's finally gotten warm and we are soaking it up! Gotta love summer!

A nice genuine pic of Taron and Keaton- pretty good dudes! They kept trying to hide behind one another while I sprayed them with the hose!

I better try this for myself...

Mr Independent: Now I want the whole thing...

And of course I better make sure it tastes ok too :)

Cooper loves popsicles!

Laughing Boy- gosh he melts my heart!

He's a good sharing boy- Sharing with Dad while he's on the phone

"Congress, get off your gas, and drill!"

For some reason I'm passionate about this this morning... I heard on the radio about an on-line petition that Chuck Norris was promoting and looked it up right away. The article is titled "Congress, get off your gas, and drill!" The campaign is called American Solutions.

I would typically be cynical of something like this and pessimistic that it could matter at all in the big picture of politics. But it's no skin off anyone's nose to "sign" an on-line petition, and I'm frustrated enough with having to pay $54 to fill up my relatively fuel effiecient car every week and a half that I'm willing to do whatever I can in any small way!

Click on these links above or the banner I've added below- lets watch what happens!

And in the meantime, add to our food storage... :)

Some Recent History

I should've thought of this to begin with, but got thinking that it might be nice to post a few pics from recent months since our blog is new. I gave the address to a friend and thought "There sure isn't much there." So I'll post a bit from these last several months to make it more inclusive. :)

Cooper Conner Turns ONE!

Cooper turned one on Friday, May 30! Our BBQ was fun and the weather was nice. Grandmas and Grandpas, Aunt and Uncles and cousins came to enjoy the evening with us. Cooper enjoyed all the action and wasn't too terribly interested in his own little cake with whip cream frosting. But a good day and new memory. Hard to believe it's already been a year... Thanks to our supportive family!

We sure love our sweet boy... This pic is from just a few days before.

Taron and Keaton helped open presents and Cooper is loving his fun new ride on toys.

This is about as messy as he got on his own with his little cake...
